What’s Happening in Santee and El Cajon This Weekend

Live music, lakeside activities, a community breakfast, a hands-on workshop, karaoke, a book swap, and two bigger concert options, all close to home.

If you want to stay close to home this weekend, you have more choices than you might think.

Santee Lakes has enough happening to fill most of Friday evening and Saturday, while Downtown El Cajon, The Magnolia, El Cajon Harley-Davidson, Sycuan, and a small local bookshop are each offering something different. I pulled the details into one place so you can decide what fits your family, your budget, and your energy level.

Event details were verified on August 27, 2026. Because schedules and ticket availability can change, use the official link under each event before leaving home.
